On-Line Silent Auction

The on-line auction has been completed and was very successful selling a
wide variety of dive products and charters, local accommodations and meals
as well as numerous non-dive related products.
Reason for the Auction: 
The total cost of the Niagara II project was well in excess of $100,000.
This required an ambitious fund raising effort. Our activities included
accepting donations,
membership fees in the Tobermory Maritime Association,
raffles,
social events such as dances and subsequent sales of annual dive tags.
Even though these fund raising efforts were quite successful, we
still needed to assume a substantial loan so we could complete the
sinking in reasonable timeframes. While this has been helpful, we need
to be more aggressive if we have any hope of retiring our debt and
proceeding with future projects.
Therefore, we completed a new and exciting series of events in 2005,
one of which was an on-line silent auction.
